As if a sorceress,
she predicts the end
of the U.S. patriarchy.
From the ashes a woman shall rise!
For under the power of man,
Americans lost their humanity;
Nevermore, with Hillary!
On the campaign trail,
she earns her place
empowering women to unite,
however hard the fight.
Sensitive to the nation she woos,
she drenches the butch,
then channels the blues.
And though nary a tear spilt
during Bill’s philandering,
not so on election night,
to Obama’s delight.
But this fighter
for the people, laments:
“I love this country; was made to lead it!”
And though they don’t doubt it,
they begin to meditate in her misty-eyed moment:
Is this woman level-headed enough to lead?
Does her constitution suit a diplomatic mission?
Would she withstand the jabs of Ahmadinejad?
The sorceress’ vision fades to illusion,
for the people know
weak representation would cripple their nation.
